Our Regular Activity:

Every Wednesday and Friday from 5pm to 7:30pm: Badminton Playing in Seaton Center (You need a student ID to get into Seaton Center and you can use your student ID if you want to borrow rackets/shuttles from Seaton Center.)

Our helping plan for newbies:

Free basic badminton skills training ONLY for our official members http://www.uky.edu/StudentOrgs/Badminton/membersheet.htm (only suitable for beginners)

When: every Wednesday from 5:30-6:30pm when Seaton Center is available for badminton
Where: Seaton Center badminton courts

On Wednesday, we will have 3-4 skilled members in Seaton Center to help beginners. (Note: those skilled members are NOT professional players but are definitely capable of helping a beginner)

We may divide people into small groups (probably 3-4 people/group) and each group has a personal trainer. The training will include some basic badminton skills dependent on the personal trainer's decision. If you want to attend the training in the week, it is better that you email us (ukbadmin@googlegroups.com) before Wednesday. So that we can make proper arrangement.

Our training plan for skilled members:

Every Sunday from 2pm to 4pm: Badminton Training in Johnson Center (You do need a student ID to get into Johnson Center or you can pay $5 with the attendance of a student instead. You need to become an official UKBA member in order to receive badminton training.)

--Skill Training: single technique enhancement (smash, drive, rushing, etc), 2 against one / 3 against one, etc.

--Physical Training: 10min' jogging, 10min' sprint, 10min' body stretching, 30min' gaiting (movements in court).
