Auditions
Ensemble auditions are conducted much like a class. All dancers
auditioning participate in a two hour class, wearing numbers as the only
indicator that they are auditioning. They are joined in this class with
other ensemble members and students in the KHP 181 and 182 classes.
There are no individual, one-on-one auditions. The director and officers
of the Ensemble make final decisions on who has been selected, and
results are posted in Barker Hall the following day. All who tried out
are notified the evening of auditions as to whether or not they were
selected.
