Michael Lindsay, Koki Abe and Luis Angeli from Oklahoma joined to help represent Central and Northern Kentucky teams.

Congratulations to everyone from Kentucky and Oklahoma who all won at least their first match. This is impressive considering that half of the people in the individuals tournament were eliminated without being able to score a victory.

Before the Detroit Kendo tournament most of the UK Kendo club (...Nick!) shaved our heads to show solidarity. Here is the video clip of Nomiyama sensei getting his head shaved.
