Tamil School

UPDATE:

Tamil classes continued through 2005 and we had around 5 students. We had volunteers as teachers. Tamil classes have stopped recently due to a lack of teachers. If you'd be interested in teaching, please let us know! We propose to start classes as soon as we have a minimum of 5 students and a few committed teachers.

LTCA began a Tamil School venture in 2005 to teach written and spoken Tamil to anyone interested.

Who will teach?

University of Kentucky students and parents have volunteered to teach enthusiastic kids!

Who can attend?

Anyone interested! The focus is on teaching children but anyone who is willing to put in the effort to learn a new language is welcome!

Prerequisites:

Dedication and enthusiasm!

Details:

We plan to give homework, assignments, hand-outs and improvise as we go along. Suggestions are welcome!
