Membership Dues:

$125 which will cover 12 full months, not just the academic sector

• Full Membership w/ UK Trap and Skeet and  BGSL
1. Membership access card to BGSL
2. Voting Rights
3. Able to use ALL facilities
4. Able to bring Guests (family/friends)

• Kentucky State Sporting Clay Competition
1. Will be held at BGSL in August
2. First weekend after coming back to campus!
3. BGSL needs bodies, at least 20
4. Make good money!!!!

Participate in Fundraisers:

• The Sixth Annual Shrine Hospital Benefit Shoot: Saturday September 15th 9:15 a.m. and  Sunday September 16th at 9:15 a.m.
• Make $130 or more that weekend
• Free food (amazing food)
• Free accommodations
• Good time to hang out with fellow team mates

• Mailing List
• Sponsor ship letters to friends, family, family business friends, dentist etc.
• The lists of potential sponsors is put together, just fill in the names & contact info
• Personalized letter will be sent to each sponsor
• You handwrite the addressed envelope to them
• THIS IS THE EASIEST FUNDRAISER EVER!!!
• Sponsors will soon be posted on “thankyou page” on our website

• 1st Ever UK Sporting Clay Shoot
• Help organize and bring in sponsorship (teams)
• Make some $$$
• Details to be worked out
  
  2nd UK Trap/Skeet Collegiate Shoot

• Over 90 shooters this past spring
• Made about $500 (plan to make $2,000 this year)
• Need shooters
• If not shooting, then volunteer
• Lots of fun! (even more if it stays warm)
  
  Club T-shirts
• Still have numerous Mediums and Larges
  Next year more XL’s and XXL’s

Officers:

• Required to have elections by members
• Need at least five students to commit to being part of the club
• President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Other? (sorry, I forget)
• Coming Fall, everyone puts in some time with the club
• This work can’t all be done by one or two people
• Step up from time to time
• Help organize a shoot, or find accommodations
• Put together lunch for one of the shoots
• Go out and talk to people who may be interested in joining the club
• Definitely help with the fundraiser

Just make a commitment to make a difference in the club

Practices:

• With BGSL membership practice times can change
• Saturdays and Sundays seem less crowded than Thursdays
• Possibility of having a real coach in the fall (going to look into it)
• Club purchase ammo in bulk to save members $$$?

Collegiate Shoots:

• UK Bluegrass Invitational in the Fall (date tbd)
• Lindenwood University, at Sparta, Illinois
