The purpose of the Outdoors Women’s League (OWL) is to educate and provide opportunities for all women in outdoor activities while maintaining the honor, dignity, and ethics of good sportsmanship.

GOALS OF THE OUTDOORS WOMEN’S LEAGUE (OWL)

The Goals of the Outdoors Women’s League are as follows:

• To share knowledge concerning outdoor activities among women members and participants.

• To improve women’s knowledge in the safe use of firearms, hunting equipment, and other outdoor sports apparatus.

• To encourage and provide educational workshops, seminars, and classes concerning topics of interest and relevance.

• To provide a network and support system of sportswomen in Kentucky.

• To encourage sisterhood and fellowship among sportswomen.

• To provide social opportunities for women interested in outdoor activities.
