Wireless Printing

Wireless printing from a Mac is easy! There's nothing to download or install - just configure a new printer right on your Macintosh and you can send your jobs to the Pharos Pay-for-Print station the same as if you were printing from a lab computer!

The information on this page will help you set up Macintosh computer to print to the public pay-for-print printers in the libraries and student computer labs. We also have general information about printing available. We recommend that you read both pages before you print for the first time, especially if you are printing from an Adobe or Macromedia application.

Information required to set up wireless printing from Macs to printers in labs and libraries all over campus is available on IKON's Wireless Print Queues page. Follow the instructions below and simply subsitute the printer address, queue, and model number for your location and desired printer.

If you do not already have a driver installed for the printer model you want to print to, you may be able to use a generic driver or download the correct driver for free from Lexmark or from Canon.

If you are using a PC laptop, you can print directly from your computer after visiting the IKON webpage for instructions on downloading and configuring a software client.
