J2EE comes standard with Mac OS X Server software that SWEB runs. However, server technologies such as JBoss are disabled on SWEB.

Server 10.4 comes with Java 1.4.2, with JDK 1.4.2_09. The path to the
Java home directory is /Library/Java/Home.
Yes. Since Javascript does not actually run on the server, but inside the browser, you may use any version or level of Javascript you wish when crafting your web pages. You will only be able to test them by viewing it in the browser however.
Yes. Currently MySQL 4.1.22 is installed.

You can use FrontPage, and publish via SFTP.
FrontPage Extensions are not available on SWEB.
Yes, you can use
Dreamweaver to manage your website and then publish it to
sweb.uky.edu using SFTP. Your remote directory should be www.
SWEB does not have the ColdFusion product at this time.
The pico program is at /usr/local/bin/pico which should be in your default path.
