sound/vision

in the spring of 2008, i co-founded the sound/vision project with percussionist brian archinal as a means of exploring new music and expanding the traditional concert format. recruiting the university's new music enthusiasts, we presented a concert of four chamber works by living american composers. all pieces were accompanied by video controlled by multi-media artist jason corder. in some instances, an audio signal of our performance was fed directly into jason's computer which triggered and generated the visuals.
