Course Information (Syllabus)

LECTURE:        Tuesday and Thursday 8:00am-8:50am in CB214

ANNOUNCEMENTS (Newest on Top)

·        No lecture on 11/24.  See email for your HW assignment.

·        Lab 10, HW 14, and HW 15 are all due in class on 11/10.

·        Lab will not meet on 11/4/2009.  I will just take the assignments up next Tuesday.  I’ve posted answers to Lab10.

·        Lab will not meet on 10/7/2009.  The assignment for Lab 6 and HW Ch10 is linked below.  It is due on 10/13/2009.  I will be available for office hours in Funkhouser 100D from 2:00pm to 4:50pm today if you have any questions on the course, extra credit assignment, or your test score.

·        Quiz on Tuesday 9/29 on the six questions

·        Skipping ANY even-numbered problems on the HW will result in you only getting ½ credit for the HW assignment.  Ask questions in class about problems you are unsure of.

·        “Purposing” when turning in your homework.  It is REQUIRED from Ch6 HW throughout the rest of the class that your homework be turned in looking neat as if you planned and prepared before class to  – multiple pages must be stapled, the paper can’t be bent and twisted with a bunch of frays on the side, etc. 

·        Exam I is back to 10/1. 

·        Class is cancelled on 9/8 and lab is cancelled on 9/9.  You need to go over the Ch4 Lecture linked below, start on the Ch4 HW, and also complete the Lab2 assignment.  Please see all due dates in the table below to make sure you get credit for your work.

·        Put your section number on your homework when you turn it in. 

·        8/27/2009 – there is a **syllabus revision** where some homework problems will be required to be turned in.  The homework problems will be due each Tuesday.
